GRESHAM, Ore. — Logan Dewall and his girlfriend Corinne Beck are home recovering after an attack near Gresham’s Main City Park.
Beck says someone called her a name when they were in the park Friday evening. She responded and words were exchanged. Beck says they were followed out of the park and attacked. Dewall suffered a broken nose, a laceration to his head and a concussion. Beck also suffered a broken nose and concussion.
Dewall’s mother, Anna Morris, says “I’m scared, I’m worried, I’m frustrated and shocked this would happen here in Gresham.”
Gresham Police said in a statement that the fight was between 5-7 people that began at Main City part at 5 p.m. Punches were thrown and Dewall fell and hit his head. No one is in custody but the case will be referred to the detectives.
Beck says she’ll need more medical care and has set up a Gofundme account to help.
