PORTLAND, Ore. — A motorist struck and killed a woman Friday morning at Southeast 92nd Avenue and Holgate Street, according to Portland police.
Police later identified the woman as 57-year-old Laurie Pierce. She was crossing Holgate Street when she was hit by a Kia SUV.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with officers.
