MARION COUNTY, Oregon — A group of Adam Stephens Middle School students found a baby raccoon at Denny Park and called the authorities when they realized it was injured.

A Marion County Sheriff's Officer responded to the call and found the baby raccoon, named Pedro by the students, to have a bloody tail.

The deputy called Turtle Ridge Wildlife Center and dropped off Pedro to be rehabilitated.
