Oregon reports 57 new cases of coronavirus, no new deaths for first time in April

Oregon state health officials announced 57 new positive tests.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Oregon Health Authority reported 57 new cases of coronavirus in the state on Wednesday.

But for the first time in over three weeks, state health officials reported no new deaths of COVID-19. The last time the OHA reported no deaths in Oregon was March 29.

The new cases bring the statewide total to 2,059 people. They were found in the following counties:

  • Clackamas: 10
  • Coos: 1
  • Deschutes: 2
  • Jefferson: 1
  • Linn: 1
  • Marion: 7
  • Multnomah: 24
  • Washington: 10
  • Yamhill: 1
