PORTLAND, Ore. — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says people 65 and older are at greater risk of having a severe illness from the coronavirus.

As a result, Oregon on March 17 restricted all visits to Oregon care centers to limit the spread of COVID-19.

Still, the virus has made its way into care facilities across the state, perhaps most notably at a veterans’ home in Lebanon, where 16 people tested positive including two who died.

The state of Oregon has a list on its website detailing which long-term care facilities have had residents or staff test positive for the coronavirus. It doesn’t include how many people at each facility tested positive for the virus, just that a resident or staff member tested positive. The care centers remain on the list until 14 days have passed without any residents showing symptoms of the virus.

The list, which was last updated on April 10, includes 26 care centers, the majority of which are in the Portland area. These facilities aren’t accepting new residents and have more limits on visitors. You can view the full list below.

The state has also compiled a list of long-term care facilities where staff or residents were tested for COVID-19 but they’re still awaiting results. These care centers have restricted admission while the tests are pending. You can see the full list, which was also last updated April 10, below.

The state will continue to update the list at this website.

As of Friday a total of 1,371 people in Oregon have tested positive for COVID-19, including 48 people who have died.
