Portland's Reed College came out on top and Salem's Corban University was third in a ranking of Oregon colleges and universities, according to WalletHub, a personal finance website.

The ranking was based on a survey of almost 1,000 institutions across the country, which looked at 30 metrics such as admission rate, costs, student-faculty ratio and more.
