PORTLAND, Ore. — Thirty nine iPads stolen from Westview High School a month ago were recovered Monday morning.

The iPads were discovered by an employee of Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District. The iPads were inside a garbage bag found in the area of Northwest Rock Boulevard and Northwest Rock Creek Drive in Portland, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The stolen devices have been returned to the Beaverton School District. The district is inspecting the iPads to see if they've been damaged.

The iPads, which were valued at $400 each, and two classroom projectors were stolen from Westview High School in Northwest Portland on February 3. The stolen items were valued at more than $15,000.

The Beaverton School District was able to disable the iPads remotely.

There is no suspect information, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 503-629-0111.
