PORTLAND, Ore. -- Deputies are asking for help finding a Portland Timbers 2015 championship ring stolen from a Bethany home within the past two months.

The theft victim, a former employee of the soccer club, called deputies on Friday to report the ring was stolen.

He said it was taken between mid-December and mid-January, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

The ring is silver and has "MLS 2015 Champions," along with the Timbers logo on the front. One side has the word "Amar" on it and the other reads "Portland Timbers."

The ring is valued at $2,000.

Anyone with information about the ring is asked to call 503-629-0111.
