PORTLAND, Ore. — Police arrested a man suspected of rammed a police car and other vehicles in Southeast Portland.
Officers searched for the possibly armed driver for nearly two hours Wednesday afternoon. They set up a perimeter around noon near Southeast Powell Boulevard and 31st Avenue. The streets were reopened just before 2 p.m.
As officers were leaving, one of them noticed a home that appeared to have been burglarized. Police found the suspect inside the home and took him into custody. There was no one else in the home at the time.
The suspect's name was not released.
