PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland police busted a 25-year-old man who they said tried to sell stolen Legos to undercover investigators.

Pavel Illich Kuzik was arrested March 3 on several outstanding warrants.

Kuzik stole several expensive Lego sets and other items from Fred Meyer stores and quickly sold them on the website offerup.com, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson with Portland police.

Detectives began investigating Kuzik in February. Police say they expect to add more charges in the case.

Police say people should be aware that new items being sold at discounts by third-party sellers may be stolen.
