PORTLAND, Ore. — Which is the hottest 'hood in the Portland area?

It's where homes fetch the highest median sale prices, where houses don't linger long on the market and where there is a for-sale sign on every block.

Since last week, the Portland Business Journal has presented its Hottest Hoods data for the second quarter, looking at sales, price and time on the market in the Portland area. Today, we combine three measures for an overall ranking of 50 ZIP codes.

SLIDESHOW: Portland's Q2 heat index

In the first quarter this year, Beaverton/Aloha, ZIP code 97007, took the top spot with a median sale price of $443,000, a median time on the market of 24 days and 163 homes sold. Multnomah Village, West Linn/Lake Oswego, Tigard/Metzger and Wilsonville rounded out the top five.

For the year-end rankings of 2018, Forest Heights/Cedar Mill/Bethany, ZIP code 97229, came in first, and suburban neighborhoods in Tigard, Beaverton and Hillsboro were right behind.
