The day after Thanksgiving, thousands of Portlanders gathered at Pioneer Courthouse Square to celebrate the lighting of Portland's Christmas tree.
It was the 34th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Portland's living room. The tree, a spectacular, 75-foot Douglas fir provided by Stimson Lumber Company, brightened the square with more than 14,000 lights.
Portland’s own Thomas Lauderdale curated a community singalong, which he led along with members of Pink Martini and friends.
