What might be on the Royal Wedding menu

Tory Shulman met up with royal and celebrity chef Hugh McGivern on the Royal Wedding menu!

London may not be known for their cuisine, but celebrity and royal chef Hugh McGivern says that the Royal Wedding menu will definitely make a statement.

Hugh says that one of the most popular trends sweeping London are "bowls" of food. Yes, bowls. These take away a lot of the formality usually associated with a traditional dinner. Kensington Palace has already confirmed that much of the food will focus on what "can be eaten while standing up, instead of a formal sit-down dinner" and that Meghan and Harry have requested local and in-season produce. Other royal sources have speculated that asparagus, tomatoes and chocolate truffles will play a major part in a variety of dishes.

The wedding cake, baked by local London bakery "Violet Cakes," is currently being assembled. The cake will be a " lemon elderflower cake that will incorporate the bright flavors of spring," according to head baker Claire Ptak who was personally instructed by Harry and Meghan. We also know the cake will be covered with buttercream and decorated with fresh flowers. It's also believed that there could be an ice cream van at the "after-party" in Frogmore House, following their second reception!
