PORTLAND, Ore. -- A late summer night walk with the dinosaurs is coming to the Oregon Zoo.

"DinoNites" will feature life-size animatronic dinosaurs as visitors walk along an ancient rain-forest trail.

There’s also a pizza feast and activities like the sandbox dig and artifact discovery stations.

"Our courageous visitors travel back 65 million years, coming face to face with the famed Tyrannosaurus rex and his other terrifying friends," zoo education programs manager Rex Ettlin said.

The walk will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 20, Aug. 9, Aug.15, Aug. 16, and Aug. 23.
