Zoo concert lineup includes Dr. John, Sharon Jones

It’s going to be another rocking year for the Oregon Zoo as they announced the 2008 ZooBeat concert series.
Among the artists are Dr. John and the Neville Brothers, Emmylou Harris and Keb’ Mo.
It’s the 30th anniversary of music at the zoo.

"This is a very special anniversary," event coordinator Krista Swan said. "People in the region have consistently endorsed this concert series by attending year after year.
Tickets go on sale April 18 at 9 a.m., through zoo reception, or online through Ticketmaster.
Here’s the lineup:
Neville Brothers and Dr. John (June 15), Keb' Mo' and Taj Majal (June 22), the Indigo Girls and Cowboy Junkies (June 28), Los Lobos with Los Lonely Boys (July 18), Emmylou Harris (July 22), Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings with Marc Broussard (July 25), Tower of Power with the Crusaders (Aug. 3), Boz Scaggs (Aug. 17) and the Avett Brothers with Shawn Mullins (Aug. 24).
The Wednesday "ZooTunes" concerts include: Junior Brown (June 18), Blue Highway (July 23), Youssou N'Dour (July 30), Oliver Mtukudzi (Aug. 6), Riders in the Sky (Aug. 13) and Amos Lee (Aug. 20).
All tickets are general admission and prices range from $10 to $26.
