Last November, Friday the 13th my husband suffered a heart attack at work. He was taken to the hospital and recieved a stint and lived to tell about it. Very appreciative to be alive today, we participated for the first time in the Heart Associations Heart Walk in Portland. What a great experience for my husband and I. So many people there for a simple and worthy cause. Being the photographer that I am, I had to capture this moment in time for us to remember how lucky we are to have him be a survivor.
I was able to shoot pics of Portland that I'd never seen before. Not just people walking, but the river at it's best. It's got alot of nastalgic scenery, a perspective of days long ago. The archetecture on the river is beautiful.
We were so fortunate to have walked the walk and see what we saw as we supported those who have had heart attacks and not here today.
