We brought our daughter, Miette Liselle, home for the first time the day before Mother's Day in 2009. My husband and I gave her a bath together, then cuddled her, and she promptly stretched out and fell asleep. We took this picture immediately. That first day is one of our most cherished memories, the first feeling of the pure joy that only a child in the home can bring. Our lives haven't been the same since.
