Looking for a place to view the most incredible natural wild life right here in Salem. Just a few miles south on I5 is the Ankheny Hill exit. The refuge is a part of the National Wildlife Refuge System set aside to protect various wildlife such as the American Bald Eagle. There are 500 NWR throughout the United States and are visited by nearly 40 million Americans each year.
