After reading an online blog by professional nature/wildlife photographer Laurie Excell, I decided to pay this lighthouse a visit. It was worth the 113 mile drive on a beautiful day. I set up my tripod loaded with my new Nikon D800 DSLR and a Nikkor 24-70mm F/2.8 lens aboard. I left with a smile on my face, totally rewarded.
