ANNOUNCES THE 2012 INDUCTEES
MONDAY JULY 16TH AT 6PM

The Oregon Music Hall of Fame (OMHOF) will hold a Press Conference on Monday, July 16th at 6pm at Tony Starlight’s to announce the 2012 inductees into OMHOF. This year’s induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 6th at the Aladdin Theater.
There will be a performance by Lake Jiroudek, a jazz guitarist and recipient of one of the 4 scholarships given out by OMHOF this year. Bassist Kate Davis, a 2009 recipient of an OMHOF scholarship, will accompany him. Kate has been attending school in NYC as well as performing at clubs and festivals around the country.
OMHOF was formed in 2003 to both promote and preserve the musical arts in the state of Oregon. They have been putting on music assemblies in K-5 schools throughout the state, reaching over 8000 kids per year. OMHOF also has been giving out 4 to 5 scholarships per year to high school seniors from the state.
Previous inductees include Mel Brown, Black ‘N Blue, Robert Cray, Dead Moon, The Dharma Bums, The Kingsmen, Nu Shooz, Quarterflash, The Dan Reed Network, Paul Revere & The Raiders, Doc Severinsen, Curtis Salgado and Elliott Smith. For a complete listing, visit omhof.org
