On June 4th 2011, I sat at the top of the Astoria Column for two hours waiting for the perfect shot. The wind was blowing and my legs hurt from the stairs and I forgot my coffee in the truck, but it was worth it. The shot was taken at 9:00 pm using a Nikon D3100 and a 55-300 lens set at f/11, 1/2500 shutter, and ISO 3200.
