In honor of National Puppy Day, I'd like to share pictures of our dog, Lotus, a pit bull. We adopted her from a local rescue five years ago. She's now seven years old and the best dog I've ever had. Lotus loves her four kitty siblings and makes friends with everyone she meets. We definitely encourage others to adopt from local shelters and rescues -- there are some wonderful dogs out there who need loving homes.
