Today at about 2:15 pm a house in Southeast Portland erupted in fire. The house just South of 51st & SE Brooklyn St had flames climbing out of the roof and smoke filled all of the neighboring blocks. There was 1 man inside that the firefighters pulled to safety in the front yard and worked diligently to save his life. It was amazing to see how quickly and professionally the Emergency workers got this under control.
