Dutch elm disease was the culprit when this huge tree fell in Portland's Park Blocks killing a woman in 1979. A few blocks away, the trees the Occupy Portland denizens are camped out under are in the same shape. I would not camp under those trees, particularly in bad weather. While I support the movement, I think someone needs to tell them they're in more danger than they know.
