PORTLAND -- Mayor Sam Adams' had his head shaved to raise money for a St. Baldrick's children's cancer charity event Saturday, May 14, at Oaks Park.
This 1080p HD video highlights his opening remarks, then a very young cancer patient initiates his buzz cut with clippers.
Adams also challenged other mayors in the region to participate in future St. Baldrick's events.
Just before the final dozen heads were shaved, the event ticked over the largest number of participants who went bald in any St. Baldrick's event nationwide.
