Our goal - to capture four cool pictures throughout Portland. It had been awhile since we had driven along the old scenic hwy up by the falls. With a few hours to kill before school let out and the kids busted through the front door, we headed out with no paticular destination. We found our way up the backside of a mountain hoping we would get a great view of Hood. We were happy to find at the top of the mountain you could park and hike around. Little did we know that the look-out area at the end of the path would allow us to see Hood, St Helens, Adams, Reineer and Jefferson! After that we continued our adventure down the old hwy and decided to stop at all of the little falls along the way before we went to Multanoma Falls. This picture that was taken of the bridge was at one of those smaller falls in early September 2010.
