This Halloween Typhoon partnered with the World Forestry Center to host holiday fun for the whole family. Chefs from Typhoon! and other professionals competed for cash prizes to become Portland’s Premier Pumpkin Sculptor at the World Forestry Center Discovery Museum as kids decorated pumpkins and participated in a museum-wide scavenger hunt.

Typhoon! sold Thai and American cuisine along with hot apple cider to help visitors get in the Halloween spirit. Kids took home their own mini pumpkin they decorated at the museum as well.

The Kink.fm van was on-site. Admission was $5 for adults and kids in costume got in free.

When: October 31, 2010 – 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Where: World Forestry Center Discovery Museum
4033 SW Canyon Road
Portland, OR 97221
