Olympic Cauldron - FAIL!

Some began to wonder if the Vancouver Olympics were cursed, starting with the death at the Whistler Sliding Center and continuing at the Opening Cermony on Feb. 12, 2010. In a first, four people acted as the final torchbearers. Out of the floor of B.C. Place, four arms of the Olympic Cauldron were supposed to emerge. But, one got stuck, leaving torchbearer Catriona Le May Doan to simply smile and wave at the crowd as Wayne Gretzky, Steve Nash and Nancy Greene lit the flame. Le May Doan was given some satisfaction at the Closing Ceremony when the malfunction was fixed and she was allowed to light her part of the cauldron.
