Thousands enjoy Portland's fireworks show

The 2009 Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival, presented by First Tech Credit Union hosts the largest display in Oregon - the Wildhorse Casino and Resort Fireworks Show starts at 10:05 p.m., after the evening's final performance and the National Anthem, sung by Linda Hornbuckle. PGE Park:

The 'Twilight' cast will start a double-header at PGE Park at 10:45 a.m. More: 'Twilight' baseball

The Portland Beavers and Portland General Electric host a post-game fireworks show, as the Beavers play host to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,903 fans through the gates will receive a Beavers patriotic cap. Portland Beavers.com

Salem will celebrate Fourth of July at Volcanoes Stadium with a home baseball game against Washington's Tri-City Dust Devils, the first of a five-game stretch. A pre-game concert with Brianne Beaty will start things off at 5:30; afterward Les Schwab will pull out the stops for its fireworks display over the skies.

Estacada really looks like the place to be this year – huge festival all over town with a parade, live entertainment and music all day , a carnival fun center, food arts and crafts and a Rogue nation beer garden.

In St. Helens you can check out the Rapture of Scrapture Art Show and Competition from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. in Columbia View Park. The fireworks show is at 10 p.m. from Sand Island in the middle of the Columbia River across from Columbia View Park, 30 minutes from Portland on Highway 30.
