History Museum celebrates Oregon's own Master Puppeteer

What: Puppetry: An Out of Body Experience

Who: Featuring the work of Scappoose resident and master puppeteer Michael Curry

Watch Drew Carney's visit with world-renowned puppeteer, Michael Curry, at the Oregon History Museum during the 06/26/08 edition of Newschannel 8 at Sunrise.

Where: The Oregon History Museum, 1200 SW Park Avenue (South Park Blocks between Jefferson & Madison) – Downtown Portland

When: Exhibit on display now through October 19th during normal Museum hours.

Description: Michael Curry, a resident of Scappoose, OR has achieved an international reputation as a master of puppetry and kinetic theatrical design. He creates iconic, exhilarating, profoundly moving performance experiences for such global entertainment brands as The Walt Disney Company, Cirque Du Soleil, Universal Studios and The Olympics. Through his pieces, now on display as part of the Puppetry exhibit, Curry has been able to create entertainment events that define art, excellence and imagination for our time.
