Canoeing in the Cascades on guided tours

BEND, Ore. – If you want to give canoeing a try, without the hassle of organizing the trip yourself, a tour group is offering guided paddles in the Cascade Lakes this summer.

Wanderlust Tours is offering daily, half-day guided tours as well as many monthly special evening canoe events.

Half-day tours, including guided Cascade Lake Canoe Tours, Desert Cave Tours, Volcano Tours and GPS Eco-Challenge Trips are offered daily spring through fall at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Professional naturalist guides provide vibrant natural and cultural history interpretation along the way specific to each area visited.

Half-day tours range from $37 to $65 per person. Special events range from $60 to $110 per person. All Wanderlust Tours include a naturalist guide, transportation, equipment, instruction, and food and drinks when applicable.

Special events, including Moonlight Canoe Tours, Dinner Canoe Under the Stars evenings, Brews and Views beer tasting canoe events, and Wanderlust Tours’ new Starlight Canoe Tours depart from Bend and Sunriver on specific dates June through September.
