Showers & Mtn. Snow

Updated today at 12:36 PM

Hello From The First Alert Storm Center

We finaly have some more "normal" weather instead of crazy winds and extremely heavy rain!  The main wave of moisture has moved through, now we're just sitting in a showery pattern.  The winds have already calmed down quite a bit compared to the past couple of days, however it will still be breezy.  The other good piece of this, lots of cold air will come in behind this cold front...so the snow level will drop quite a bit possibly as low as 2,500'.  We have a Winter Weather Advisory in effect for 6-10" of snow today, and maybe 5-9" tonight.  Good stuff!  Although be preprared for winter driving conditions.

We may also see a few thunderstorms today as that cold air works its way in.  Tomorrow we'll have another weaker system push in, giving us a good round of rain and a very good round of mountain snow tomorrow and tomorrow night.  We might see an additional 10-20" of snow tomorrow.

Sunday we'll see showers and sunbreaks, rain for Monday, mostly dry for Tuesday and Wednesday...and then showers for Thanksgiving!

Have A Great Friday,
