From The First Alert Storm Center,
Metro temperatures to start your day range from 10 - 18 degrees. Higher dew points will lead to frosty areas, making for more of an icy start than we saw over the weekend.
Radar shows light snow or flurries moving into Long Beach. Portland will see increasing cloudiness today with possible light snow flurries. The chance of light snow will continue tonight. At this time, I do not expect any more than a trace of snow for the metro area. However, communities near the Cascade foothills could see up to an inch.
Futurecast does show a chance of freezing rain Tuesday morning. A larger area of moisture may produce a wintry mix Tuesday night & Wednesday, before all changes to rain.
