Friday Weather Forecast

by Nick Allard

Updated today at 6:38 AM

Happy Friday!  We have a good round of heavy showers this morning moving east into the cascades.  I think this will be the last round of heavy showers before conditions improve today.  The same weather system is over the area, but it's moving north east.  As the system moves out of the area, the showers will decrease in coverage and intensity.  Look for for sunbreaks and temps in the lower-60s and upper-50s, which is about 5° warmer than yesterday.

Tomorrow we'll start with some low clouds and fog, but we'll be dry!  From there we'll turn partly to mostly cloudy with highs in the mid-60s. Notice I didn't say anything about rain? I think we'll stay dry until later Saturday night, so keep that in mind if you're going camping.  On Sunday we'll see a few showers with partly to mostly cloudy skies and temps in the mid-60s.  By Monday another system will roll through with light rain and mid-60s. Have a great and safe Holiday Weekend.
