That nice weather we've been having is going to be on hold for awhile.
Scattered showers and even thunderstorms were possible in the Metro area, according to KGW meteorologist Nick Allard.
Most areas west of the Cascades were expected to be calm, with only a few sprinkles here and there. However, thunderstorms were moving into the valley and some of the storms could be heavy enough to cause some flooding east of the Cascades, said Allard.
Highs will be in the lower-80s with partly to mostly cloudy skies.
Tomorrow and Thursday we'll see a few showers here and there with partly sunny skies.
We'll be back to our nice summer weather with the area warming up again on Friday and heading into the weekend.
