BEAVERTON, Ore. – A driver went through some scary moments in Beaverton Wednesday night, when a sinkhole opened up in front of him.
The driver was headed down Northwest Bronson Road, near Northwest Overton Drive, around 7 p.m., when the ground gave way and the front tire got stuck.
He was able to safely get out of the car without any injuries.
A broken sewer pipe was likely to blame for creating the sinkhole, authorities said.
