VANCOUVER  -- A Vancouver smoke shop was burglarized early Sunday morning, with lost inventory and property damage in excess of $5,000.

Smoking J's at 6307 NE 117th Ave., was hit about 12:30 a.m.

The burglar broke the glass door to get in. He then bashed a display case and took several glass art pieces, one that cost $700.  He also stole games and other items.

General manger Jeff Gauthier said the burglar also broke an item worth over $600, but let it behind.

"We're hard-working people.  We've had this business for over 15 years." said Gauthier. "I feel like he stole from me."
