PORTLAND -- ODOT released a timelapse video of Saturday's Sellwood Bridge move, which shows a sped-up version of the arduous feat of engineering that crews undertook this week.
The 1,100 ton stretch of the bridge needed to be moved 66 feet in an exact straight line.
The bridge moved about three-quarters of an inch every minute, finally docking with the detour bridge Saturday evening.
