PORTLAND -- Rooms were damaged after a frozen overhead sprinkler burst in a Lewis & Clark dorm.

The 22 rooms were in the school's newest dormitory, Edna Holmes Hall. Cascading water damaged carpets, hallways, desks and beds.

Ten students in the dorm were moved to a hotel or were staying with friends.

Repairs were expected to take four to five days. The mishap came as finals week was set to begin.
