PORTLAND -- Police identified a man struck and killed about 9:30 p.m. Sunday on 82nd Avenue near Powell Boulevard as 53-year-old Donald Burl Yarbour Jr..
The driver of the car, who was southbound, remained at the scene and cooperated with police, said Lt. Robert King. Speed and impairment were not factors, he said.
The pedestrian died at the scene, King said.
