TILLAMOOK -- Highway 6 to the Oregon Coast was reopened after being closed because of a Sunday landslide, ODOT officials said.
Authorities said there was enough mud and debris to fill 100 dump trucks.
Also known as the Wilson River Highway, the slide came across the roadway at milepost 6 early Sunday morning. Clean up efforts went well, but ODOT wishes to monitor the area longer for unstable slopes.
Utility companies were still checking on damage to power and phone lines late Tuesday afternoon.
ODOT warned drivers to still be alert for falling rocks in the area.
