PORTLAND – A Northeast Portland school hosted a tribute to the victims of the Conn. School tragedy Monday night.
Parents, children and teachers held hands around Alameda Elementary School on NE Fremont at 6 p.m., as part of a nationwide effort called "Hands Around Our Schools.
Several schools organized the events as a show of unity in support of the Newtown shooting victims.
