PORTLAND -- A former Beaverton School District teacher wanted on child pornography charges has been arrested after his flight from Amsterdam landed in Portland.

The suspect, 35-year-old Logan Storm, was indicted in August after images of child pornography were discovered on his computer.

He was booked Saturday on 30 charges of encouraging child sexual abuse.

Portland Police Bureau spokesman Sgt. Pete Simpson said the case so far involves images of child porn, not acts of child abuse.

Storm was a teacher at Stoller Middle School before resigning.

Parents told KGW that they were disappointed that the school district did not keep them better informed, saying they learned of the case via the internet and not the district.

District officials could not be reached for comment.
