PORTLAND – Some of the top musical talent in the Portland area played a benefit Saturday night for the families of the Clackamas Town Center shooting.

Ty Curtis performed to a packed house with a host of other musicians at Duke’s Bar and Grill in Southeast Portland.

All the proceeds from the show go to the families of the shooting victims.

Hillsboro police officer and country singer Kurt Van Meter also performed.

“We wanted to provide the community a way to heal. We wanted (to give) them a way to support the families of the victims…so music is an amazing way to do that,” he said.

The concert raised around $8,500.
