PORTLAND – Terri Horman is asking the court to allow her to spend time with her 5-year-old daughter, according to court documents obtained by KGW Monday.
Terri Horman is the step-mother of Kyron Horman, a Portland boy who has been missing since 2010. She's been the focus of investigators since the child's disappearance.
Terri Horman was allegedly the last person to see Kyron before he disappeared.
Terri’s husband, Kaine, filed a restraining order against her the month Kyron vanished. The order prevents Terri from contacting their daughter Kiara.
In court documents associated with the divorce case filed Nov. 26, Terri's attorney Peter Bunch said Kaine has shown no evidence that should keep her away from the child and that Terri should have "frequent and continuing contact with Kiara."
Bunch stated in the document that he would present "expert testimony" to assist the case for restoring Terri's parenting access.
A court date is set for Dec.19.
