GRESHAM, Ore. – A Gresham convenience store was robbed at gunpoint and now police are hoping surveillance video will help catch the criminal.
The robber pointed a gun at the clerk in the Plaid pantry at 242nd and Glisan Street and fired at her when she put down the cash register drawer. The gunshots barely missed her hand.
The cashier tried to get away but the gunman forced her back inside, the surveillance video shows.
Police believe that just a few hours later, the same robber held up another convenience store on 66th Avenue and Glisan Street, then got away.
