LOS ANGELES – About 100 people broke in to a $7 million Southern California mansion to throw a party, then they stole nearly $1 million worth of collectible goods and tried to sell them online.

After the teens trashed and looted the place, they tried to sell thousands of dollars worth of Armani suits, a World War II-era Nazi helmet, a stuffed snow leopard worth $250,000, and much more.

They also posted pictures of themselves on Twitter.

“They were actually bragging about the party, showing themselves inside the residence, showing themselves with some of the stolen property,” said Capt. Timothy Murakami of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office.

Police tracked down and arrested 13 juveniles and three adults in connection with the crime.
