This clip from the KGW 20th anniversary program shows the amazing film footage of the town of Roseburg after it was leveled by an explosion in 1959. A truck carrying ammonium nitrate over heated, burst into flames and exploded. The blast and ensuing fires took out three city blocks. The anchor of the segment is long-time KGW reporter Ivan Smith. The reporter is Richard Ross.
