Hoodoo Marketing Manager Crystal Pizzola didn't have attendance numbers Sunday afternoon. But she said good weather and a Thanksgiving weekend opening had the ski area packed when it opened Saturday.
Pizzola says it is the biggest opening in ten years.
Three of the resort's five chairlifts were running on opening weekend. Pizzola say the ski area is closed Monday through Thursday -- and will re-open on Friday.
Central Oregon's largest ski area, Mount Bachelor, officially opened on November 18th. Bachelor recorded a 49-inch snow base and 41 inches mid-mountain on Sunday.
