PORTLAND -- Travelers have a new, eco-friendly option in car parking.

A parking facility located near Portland International Airport offers preferred “green” spaces at Air Park.

The spaces are reserved for customers driving hybrid fuel vehicles, electric cars or any other eco-friendly autos.

They are located at the front of the lot, nearest to shuttle buses.

Air Park is also offering a discount for eco-friendly cars.

The lot plans to offer electric car charging stations in the future.
