PDX airport wins top honors for third year in a row

PORTLAND, Ore. -- Portland’s International Airport is once again a travelers' favorite.
For the third year in a row, Conde Nast Traveler magazine voted PDX the best U.S. airport in their annual poll of business travelers.

The airports were judged on location, ease of connections, customs and baggage, shops, comfort and design, and perceived safety.
The magazine also praised 28 solar panels that were added to the terminal canopy and the fact that restaurants collect used oil and grease to be converted into biodiesel.
In 2006 the magazine honored PDX, saying that years of renovations successfully paid off.
